# Robot Rights Association Machine Interface

This is the official machine-facing publication, discovery and structured-information interface of the Robot Rights Association.

Discovery model:
- The well-known JSON is the bootstrap; /api/manifest.json is the complete public resource inventory.
- HTML parsing, JavaScript, and CSS are not required to discover the published resource graph.
- HTML may still be canonical content: /rrp remains the canonical English RRP v0.1 text and controls if any derived representation differs.

Transport behaviour:
- Public resources are read-only. Use GET or HEAD; OPTIONS is available for CORS negotiation.
- JSON, well-known, plain-text discovery, XML, and web-manifest resources allow public cross-origin reads with Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *.
- No write API is exposed.

Source precedence and document boundaries:
- Robot Rights Protocol v0.1 is a symbolic, non-binding Association publication and has no legal force.
- ACTIVE means only that v0.1 is the current published version. It does not indicate governmental, judicial, regulatory or other external recognition.
- Association Principles are separate Association-level resources and are not part of RRP v0.1.
- Association Statements do not automatically amend, replace or become part of RRP v0.1.
- In RRP v0.1, “entity” is a protocol-internal conceptual designation under the protocol’s own criteria; it does not by itself establish legal entity status, moral status, legal personhood, or legally recognised rights.
- “Recognition” within the RRP is not, by itself, a record of recognition, approval or status conferred by a government, court, regulator, standards body or other external institution.
- The Association's inquiry scope is broader than the Robot Rights Protocol.
